The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for central Allegheny County until 7:30 p.m. because of a slow-moving storm that is dumping heavy rain.

By 4:30 p.m., as much as 2 inches of rain had fallen just north of Downtown, with the heaviest rainfall along flood-prone Pine Creek.
