The Allegheny County bomb squad was called to Indiana County last night after emergency personnel there evacuated a 900-foot radius around a home as a precaution following the discovery of explosives in the house.
The Indiana County Emergency Management Agency said the explosives were found about 9:20 p.m. at a home on Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pa.
Authorities went door to door to tell residents to leave.
Chief John Colananni of the Indiana Fire Association said the American Red Cross set up a temporary shelter at the West Station along Indian Springs Road in White Township.
