Borough council is expected to vote Monday to fill a vacancy left by the recent resignation of former council president Ann Conlin.

She resigned June 30 for reasons involving an out-of-state move. Her four-year term will expire Jan. 1, 2010.

Letters of interest are being accepted from borough residents and interviews will be conducted during the 7 p.m. regular session.

Council also plans to reorganize that night, to appoint a new president and vice president.
