The Allegheny County Department of Court Records has moved the bond counter to Room 114 in the Allegheny County Courthouse.

Service hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

After a defendant has been arraigned and processed, bond money can be accepted at the counter for his or her immediate release. There is a $30 filing fee for all bonds, and only cash, money orders, cashier's checks and Western Union transfers, in the exact amount, can be accepted.

All bonds posted from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., Mondays through Fridays, and on all weekends and holidays, can be completed at the Municipal Courts Building, 660 First Ave., Downtown.
