A North Side man was killed Friday night after being hit by a pickup truck in Spring Hill, and the truck driver was arrested on manslaughter and other charges.
David Domain, 55, died of injuries to the trunk after he was hit around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Itin and High streets, according to the county medical examiner's office.
Police identified the truck driver as William Rector, 46, of the North Side. He was charged with one count each of involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, causing an accident involving death or personal injury and careless driving.
