A man died early yesterday after he was shot outside the Eat 'n' Park restaurant at the Waterfront complex in Homestead.

The 38-year-old man's name was withheld until relatives could be notified, according to the county medical examiner's office. He was shot shortly after 4 a.m. and taken to UPMC Mercy, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made but police are seeking a man who accosted the victim inside and outside the restaurant, then fled after the shooting.

When the victim left the restaurant, the gunman approached and shot him, police said. The gunman drove away in a Dodge Charger.
