• After he was accused of pointing a gun at people sitting on a porch on Second Avenue on June 17, police charged Spencer R. Houghton, 18, of Knox Avenue, with simple assault and terroristic threats.

• Following a domestic assault at a residence on Railroad Avenue Saturday, Brandon Tolkacevic, 18, of Crafton, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol.

• After a traffic stop at East Main Street and Washington Avenue Sunday, Khalid M. Eldridge, 19, of Richmond, Va., was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

• John C. Lefevre, 44, of Center Avenue in Butler, was charged Friday with providing false reports to law enforcement, providing false identification to law enforcement, public drunkenness and violation of the borough ordinance against open containers of alcohol in public on Seventh Street.

• Ruth A. Betlyn, 47, of Third Street, was charged June 17 with violation of the borough ordinance against maintaining a disorderly location.

• At 11:45 p.m. Sunday, a 17-year-old male from Wilkinsburg and two male juveniles from Carnegie, ages 14 and 12, were charged with violation of the borough's 11 p.m. curfew for persons younger than 18. The incident occurred on Washington Avenue.

• At 1:35 a.m. June 17, a 16-year-old male from Carnegie was charged on Third Street with violation of the borough's 11 p.m. curfew for persons younger than 18.

• Edward M. Dlugos, 56, of Shadypark Court, was charged June 16 with driving under the influence of alcohol following a May 17 incident in which the vehicle he was operating struck a parked car on Suburban Avenue.

• Kathy Reiner, 61, of Aylesworth Avenue, was charged June 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Two female juveniles from South Fayette were charged June 10 with retail theft after being accused of stealing $57 worth of miscellaneous clothing from Kmart, Chartiers Valley Shopping Center.

• A McMichael Road resident reported the theft of four dirt-style motorcycles worth $13,000 from a garage last Thursday.

• The developer of the Summit Ridge housing plan off Nike Site Road reported last Thursday that unknown persons damaged stop and street signs in the development. Damages are estimated at $2,000.

• Randy Thompson, 18, of Carnegie, was arrested Saturday and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related charges after he was accused of shooting at two men and hitting one in the leg. The incident took place between the parking lot of Schoolhouse Village on Washington Avenue and Hope Street.

• Michelle Lynn Gamrod, 37, of Center Street, was arrested Saturday for simple assault and harassment stemming from an incident in which she is accused of assaulting another female.

• After police said they encountered him swimming in Chartiers Creek near the bridge between Carothers Avenue and Third Street, Chad Montgomery, 28, whose last known address was in Clinton, was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

• Cindy Marie Tiller, 38, of Willard Street, was charged Saturday with public drunkenness on Center Street.

• Barry James Thompson, 22, of Penn Hills, was charged with retail theft and drug law violations based on a call to police from Wal-Mart in Raceway Plaza.

• On June 18, a male reported the theft of $140 from a pair of pants that he had placed by a fence at Gregg Street Park while he played basketball. A male juvenile is expected to be charged in the incident.

• Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, police received a call from Lowe's Home Improvement Center, Raceway Plaza, for a retail theft involving several males and a female, who stole $192 worth of wire from the lawn and garden area before fleeing in a brown Chevette.

• On Sunday, a resident of Marguerite Drive reported the theft of $400 from an apartment cabinet.

• Two religious lawn ornaments worth a total of $50 were stolen from a property in the 1100 block of Lindsay Road during the night Saturday, police said.

A coin changer containing an undetermined amount of cash was reported stolen June 18 from the laundry room of the 100 building at Carriage Park Apartments on Chatham Park Drive.
