Three films took the top prizes when awards were announced at the second annual Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project's "Best Of" screening Friday night, with Michael Fuller's "Training Film" taking "Best Film of Pittsburgh 2008."
The filmmakers were given a theme and 48 hours to complete their submissions. "Training Film" was a sci-fi entry.
"Hotel California" (thriller) by Adam Taylor won the Group B Audience Choice Award and was runner-up for the "Best of Pittsburgh" prize, and "Handsome Prince" (fable) by Bill Moore took the Group A Audience Choice Award at the screening and ceremony at the Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie.
