Jolie with twins; Witherspoon, Gyllenhaal set to wed; Heche is broke
Friday, May 16, 2008
Reese Witherspoon is reportedly ready to tie the knot with Jake Gyllenhaal.

"Today" show's Natalie Morales got the scoop on Angelina Jolie being pregnant with twins.

Natalie was interviewing Brad's boo in Cannes when her "Kung Fu Panda" co-star Jack Black let the news slip out and Ms. Jolie confirmed it.

Folks have been buzzing for a while that Angie baby was going to add two more simultaneously to her brood.

The interview aired yesterday.

Love and marriage just seems to be breaking out all over the place, except for Brad and Angie. Well, at least not the marriage part.

Word is Reese Witherspoon and her beau, Jake Gyllenhaal, are ready to walk down the aisle, according to OK! magazine.

They've been together for a while, and Reese's friends say she's a very traditional girl. Plus she already has two children, so she's not about to play house with anybody.

Of course, the "Legally Blonde" star's rep had no comment.

Speaking of marriage, Mariah Carey's old boyfriend is not doing too well with the news that Miss Mimi up and married young Nick Cannon.

Mariah reportedly spent four years with music producer Mark Sudack before they broke up earlier this year. Boyfriend even helped her with her new album, "E=MC2."

Now his friends are afraid to even talk to him about the matter. "He never thought she would go off and marry someone else," said a friend. He's heartbroken and shocked. He loved her so much."

Listen, Mark, everybody has had their heart broken. Just cry two tears in a bucket and move on.

Jessica Simpson has split with her "future husband" Dallas QB Tony Romo.

But we don't think Tony's checked into the heartbreak hotel like Mariah's ex has.

Word is Tony's already moved on to another gorgeous blonde named Lindsay, whom he was partying with last weekend in Chicago, according to US Weekly.

Photos of the QB and the recent Michigan State grad/sorority girl ended up on PerezHilton.com.

Meanwhile, Jessica will have to put on a brave front this weekend, since talk is that her little sister Ashlee will wed her Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz.

NY Daily News reports that somebody is offering seven figures for exclusive coverage of the nuptials.

Guess they need the money since she's reportedly going to wear a Vera Wang gown and he's going to be dapper in Dolce & Gabbana.

Let's get off the love train for a minute and head over to Dollywood.

Well, not actually the amusement park, but the country music icon.

Dolly Parton is madder than a hornet's nest about "The Howard Stern Show" messing with some audio from one of her audio books and making it sound like she made sexually graphic and racist comments.

Apparently, the show does this a lot and previously has used rejiggered audio clips of "Star Trek" stars George Takei and William Shatner.

But Dolly's not having it.

"I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," Dolly said in a statement. "I can't believe what Howard Stern has done with me. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth."

Ms. Parton goes on to say that if ever there was going to be a lawsuit, it'll be over this.

Speaking of the judicial system, a judge has suspended Anne Heche's child support payment for July because girlfriend told the judge she is broke with a capital "B," reports TMZ.

Anne was paying $14,798 a month to her ex-hubby, Coley Laffoon, who has custody of their son, Homer.

But the star told a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge that her money is real funny right now.

"I have been unemployed and had no income ... except for one very short-term contract for a movie role for which I received a total of $65,000."

You know Anne's show, "Men in Trees," was canceled, and she said she is $364,000 in the hole.
