Penguins' Talbot returns from injury
Saturday, May 10, 2008

Center Max Talbot, who missed the Penguins' past three games because of a broken right foot, said he believes he will be ready to play in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final tomorrow night at Mellon Arena.

Talbot rejoined his teammates for practice at the arena this morning and was on the ice for about 90 minutes.

Talbot broke his foot as he blocked a shot during Game 3 of the Penguins' second-round series against the New York Rangers.

The Penguins beat Philadelphia, 4-2, in the opener of the conference final last night.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
