Two local players were selected in the third round of today's NFL draft and another was taken early in the fourth round.
Penn State linebacker Dan Connor was selected with the 74th overall pick by Carolina and West Virginia running back Steve Slaton was taken with the 89th pick by Houston.
Penn State cornerback Justin King was chosen with the 101st pick by the St. Louis Rams.
The draft is composed of seven rounds and will end later this evening.
