It's "New Music March" at WYEP-FM (91.3), where the adult alternative station has lined up a month-long slate of events and programming.

"Third Thursdays at WYEP" is a monthly series of free happy-hour performances by local bands from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the WYEP Community Broadcast Center on the South Side. The lineup this month: Br'er Fox (Thursday), Tom Breiding (March 20) and The Slant (March 27).

Friday evenings at 8, WYEP will air a series of live broadcasts and interviews with performers at Club Cafe.

The "91.3fm Live From Club Cafe" lineup: Patty Larkin (Friday), The Rustlanders (March 14), Bill Deasy (March 21) and Tyler Ramsey of Band of Horses (March 28).

On Saturday, WYEP goes outside the (radio) box to present some vintage Dylan with "The Other Side of the Mirror: Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival 1963-65," Murray Lerner's 2007 documentary film featuring archival footage from Dylan's classic Newport performance.

The evening at Pittsburgh Filmmakers' Melwood Screening Room, Oakland, includes a reception and performances by local musicians Brad Yoder, Paul Luc, Ben Hardt, Scotts Roger, Nicole Reynolds and Stephen Foxbury, who'll be playing Dylan songs.

The event is 6:30 to 9:45 p.m. Saturday. The movie will be shown at 7:30 p.m., with music before and after the screening. Tickets are $8, or $6 for WYEP and Filmmakers members.
