Penguins defenseman Mark Eaton will be out indefinitely with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

He was injured during the Penguins' 4-2 victory against Boston Sunday at Mellon Arena.

Eaton has no goals and three assists in 36 games this season. He plays along side Sergei Gonchar Penguins' top defense pairing.
