A 4-year-old boy playing with a handgun in Indiana County today accidentally fired a shot that grazed the leg of a 2-year-old boy.
A family in a home on Main Street in Plumville was moving at around 2:45 p.m. when the boys found the loaded gun in some boxes, state police said.
The bullet struck the 2-year-old's thigh and the wound was not considered life-threatening. The boy's mother took him to a nearby hospital, and he was later transported to Children's Hospital, state police said.
No charges will be filed in connection with the incident, police said.
