The Group Against Smog and Pollution said it filed the suit yesterday in Allegheny County court. It asks the court to stop the use of $1.3 million from the Clean Air Fund for demolition work at the old U.S. Steel Duquesne Works.

GASP stated in a news release that the county Health Department's rules permit the money only to be used for improving air quality. The health board violated those rules when it voted in November to allow the money to be used for blast furnace removal.
