Carlynton closed all week; Char Valley opens tomorrow

Carlynton School District announced today that buildings in the flood ravaged area will remain closed the rest of the week.

Carlynton serves Carnegie, Rosslyn Farms and Crafton, in the western part of the county ravaged by Hurricane Ivan.

The district plans to resume classes Monday.

Chartiers Valley announced today that its buildings would reopen tomorrow. The district serves Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg and Scott.
