A woman’s body was discovered Thursday in West Homestead near The Waterfront, according to KDKA-TV, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s news partner.
The body was found washed up on the shore of the Monongahela River, KDKA said.
According to the station, West Homestead police would not confirm the identity of the body but they believe it’s a missing person.

River Rescue is investigating the water along the shoreline, KDKA said.
