Officials investigating after 2 blasts, fire at Edgar Thomson steel plant in Braddock

Fire officials said there were two explosions and a fire in the steelmaking area of the U.S. Steel Edgar Thomson facility in Braddock Monday night.

Plant officials said the blasts happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday 

Witnesses reported hearing explosions. All workers were accounted for and no injuries were reported.

Firefighting crews from Forest Hills and Braddock responded to the scene.
