No injuries reported in high-rise fire at Allegheny Center Mall

Emergency crews responded this morning to a high-rise fire in the North Side, Allegheny County emergency officials said.

No injuries were reported in the fire that occurred shortly after 9 a.m. in the 10th-floor stairwell of a high-rise apartment building at 7 Allegheny Center Mall.

Officials said residents were evacuated and the fire was extinguished in less than an hour. Crews remained on the scene to ventilate the building.

No apartments were damaged.
