The Party: It was "A Night to Remember" for musical theater at the Westin Convention Center, Downtown, for the 59th CLO Guild Ball on Saturday.
The Presentation: Judge Robert and Violet Gallo were honored with the CLOE Award and a video tribute -- she, posthumously, for nearly three decades of dedication to the CLO. PNC Bank was also recognized. Joe Guyaux (with Kathy) accepted on behalf of the bank.
The Performance: A medley of music from the summer shows included the surprising talent of WTAE's Mike Clark singing "Spamalot." "This could be the start of something big!" he joked.
The People: Three generations of co-chairs -- Moira Davison, her son, George Davison, and her granddaughter Morgan Davison -- helped make a magical evening for nearly 350 guests, including guild president Kristen Lane, executive producer Van Kaplan, board chair Patti Matty, Eleanor Schano Feeney, Dan and Debby Booker, Leslie Davis, Emilio and Donina Cornacchione, Sam Badger, Dena and George Zaimes, Chaz Gallo, Nadine Bognar, Clare and Tom Donahue and Rose Kutsenkow.
