OneJet, one of the newer regional carriers serving Pittsburgh International Airport, this week announced it will be adding nonstop service to two new destinations, Cincinnati and Louisville, Ky.
The carrier and government officials said the state of Pennsylvania and the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County each will provide $500,000 loans to help the airline expand operations over the next three years, including hiring 80 new workers.
OneJet’s recently began nonstop service to Hartford, Conn., and the carrier said it plans to add two more routes this fall. By the end of next year, OneJet plans to provide 12 nonstop flights from Pittsburgh.
Louisville service will launch July 18. Cincinnati service will begin on Aug. 15. There will be two flights each day.
